Experience / Qualifications: Experience working as a Fire Damper / Stopping Engineer Will hold the Fire Damper Testing ticket Ideally will be qualified with the FIRAS ticket and / or NVQ Level 2 in Fire Stopping Good working knowledge of BS9999 guidelines Confident using IT software Good literacy and numeracy skills The Role: Inspecting and testing fire dampers, ensuring they are fully functional and compliant Highlighting any required remedial works for existing dampers Fitting fire curtains Installing full fire stopping systems, including: mastic, batt, firestop blocks and fire resistant sealants Compartmentation surveys Completing regular service reports Annotating existing schematic drawings and creating new Adhering to safety guidelines Working to set guidelines and project scopes Alternative Job titles: Fire Damper Engineer, Fire Damper Technician, Fire Stopping Engineer, Passive Fire Engineer, Fire Stopping Technician, Fire Engineer.
