This growing, well-established Workplace Design and Build studio are looking for an experienced Technical Designer. This is a hands-on, CAD-based role, suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, technical rigour, and mentoring others.
You will play a key role from pitch through to delivery, working closely with creatives, and project teams to ensure designs are technically sound, compliant and deliverable.

The Role:
As an experienced Technical Designer within Design and Build, you know the pace the sector demands, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical drawing support to the Creative team across multiple projects
- Liaising on all technical aspects internally and externally from pitch to completion
- Developing and refining technical solutions
- Producing and coordinating detailed technical and construction drawing packs
- Ensuring all designs comply with building regulations and industry standards
- Supporting successful project delivery from concept through to site
- Maintaining technical quality and standards on site
- Attending client and sub-contractor meetings
- Developing commercial awareness and contributing to buildable, cost-effective solutions
- Keeping up to date with new products, materials and construction techniques
- Advising, supporting and mentoring junior member teams of the design
Skills & Experience:

- Advanced AutoCAD capability (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of SketchUp
- Proven experience delivering technical packages preferably within a Design & Build environment, at least within commercial interiors
- A solid understanding of building regulations and on-site delivery
- Relevant technical or professional qualifications
