Our client, a leader in the buildings sector, is currently seeking a motivated Senior / Principal Building Control Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Essex. This permanent role offers a hybrid working model with a mix of office, site, and home working arrangements to suit the needs of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval
- Conducting site visits, preparing detailed reports, and witnessing tests (full, valid driving licence required)
- Attending client and design team meetings to provide professional advice regarding building control work
- Familiarising with and utilising management systems, including the Quality Management system
- Operating in alignment with the commercial requirements of projects, including costs and programme
Job Requirements:
- Experienced and qualified Building Control professional with a commitment to excellence
- Possess a outlook to transform society through their work
- Strong technical knowledge and a creative problem-solving mindset
- Proactive approach to client relationships and delivering outstanding service
- Accreditation from RICS, CABE, CIOB, or similar
