Hill McGlynn Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a respected residential developer to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager, based on a traditional build housing development in Medway, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured developer delivering a steady build programme of approximately 40-50 units per year, offering stability, quality-focused delivery, and a professional working environment. The successful candidate will report directly into a visiting Construction Director.

The Role As Senior Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the development is delivered safely, on programme, to quality standards, and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full site management of a traditional build residential scheme
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and build quality standards
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance
• Coordinating inspections and managing snagging through to handover
• Liaising with the visiting Construction Director and providing regular progress updates
• Ensuring customer care and NHBC standards are met

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager within residential development
• Strong background in traditional build housing
• Track record of delivering residential units to programme and quality targets
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
