Site Manager: Modular Hire
Salary: 50,000 - 55,000
Location: UK Wide
Type: Full Time, National Travel Required

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee modular building installations from start to handover. This role suits a proactive construction professional with strong organisational ability, excellent safety standards, and confidence managing contractors on busy sites.

You will be joining a market leader with an exceptional track record of profitable delivery in the modular hire and semi-permanent sector. Many contracts for this business involve large scale, building reg. compliant installs and we are seeking candidate with a through understanding of this construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage modular building installations to programme deadlines.
• Enforce Health & Safety standards and site compliance.
• Coordinate with employers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage site surveys, RAMS, progress reporting, and documentation.
• Control site-level costs and report variations.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Support smooth handovers with minimal snagging.
• National travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekend work required.

About You:

• HNC (Civil/Building) or equivalent experience
• Experience as Site Manager on new build projects - modular experience is highly beneficial
• Essential Qualifications: SMSTS, NVQ 6 CSCS Black Card, First Aid, PASMA, IPAF.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills.
• Commercially aware with strong problem-solving ability.
