B2 Forklift Truck Driver Urgent Requirement

Location: Manchester

Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week (overtime available)
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

We are urgently recruiting an experienced B2 (Up to 15 tonnes) Forklift Truck Driver to join our client s busy offsite and modular construction facility in Manchester. This is an excellent temp-to-permanent opportunity within a rapidly growing sector.

The Role

You will be a key part of the yard and production team, supporting daily operations within a modular manufacturing environment. The role involves the safe movement of portable units and construction materials, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and in full compliance with health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a B2 forklift safely to load, unload, and move portable units, including Triple Stacking
• Transporting construction materials and modular units around the yard and workshop
• Assisting modular trades with production tasks when required
• Completing routine forklift checks and reporting any faults
• Supporting the cleaning, servicing, and preparation of modular units
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Reducing material waste and supporting cost efficiency
• Strictly adhering to all site health & safety procedures
• Assisting yard staff during quieter forklift periods

Skills & Experience

• Valid B2 Forklift licence Essential
• Ideally with Triple Stacking experience
• Previous experience in offsite, modular, construction, or manufacturingenvironments (highly desirable)
• Flexible and able to adapt to a variety of tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work with minimal supervision
