A leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a capable and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their established team in Central London. Specialising in commercial and mixed-use developments, this consultants Quantity Surveyors are known for delivering high-quality services across both private and public sector projects.

With a strong pipeline of work across Central London, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with 3-5 years' experience in a consultancy environment. Ideally, candidates will have some experience acting as Employers Agent and must be confident working across all key post-contract duties.

This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to progress their career in a well-structured, client-facing role with ongoing professional development support.

Quantity Surveyor - Role Overview

The successful Quantity Surveyor will support the delivery of several live schemes, with a focus on post-contract cost management and contract administration. You will be working closely with senior team members and clients to ensure financial control, timely reporting, and overall project success.

Key responsibilities will include managing interim valuations, assessing variations, cost reporting, and assisting with contract negotiations. You may also contribute to Employers Agent duties across select projects, supporting the team in providing a full suite of project monitoring and advisory services.

Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements

  • 3-5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within a consultancy or client-side environment
  • Proven experience in post-contract cost management
  • Preferably some exposure to Employers Agent duties
  • Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use schemes
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration
  • Relevant academic qualifications (e.g. BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar)
  • Working towards or recently completed MRICS is advantageous
