Full time Construction Site Manager Management Architect and Design Skilled Trades & Labour

Job Description

I am partnering with an award-winning modular construction business that delivers high-quality, sustainable buildings across education, defence, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors. They provide a full turnkey service design, off-site modular manufacturing, on-site assembly, fit-out and delivery of SMART, low-carbon buildings.

They are known for redefining the modular sector by producing architecturally diverse, bespoke buildings, rather than standardised products, and for their focus on sustainability, innovation and high-performance environments.

The Role

I am seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join this growing modular contractor. This is a roaming, site-based role managing projects across the UK. You will take full responsibility for the on-site delivery of modular construction projects, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, quality and programme performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead day-to-day site operations for modular building projects.

  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards and exercise stop-work authority when required.

  • Oversee project programmes, ensuring works stay on schedule and within budget.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour and site resources.

  • Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain compliance with specifications and building regulations.

  • Provide accurate, timely progress reporting to the operations team.

  • Build and motivate a high-performing site team, maintaining a positive and engaging site culture.

  • Work from BIM-based documentation and ensure all site personnel operate from correct drawing revisions.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong background as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager, ideally within modular construction or MMC.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.

  • Highly organised, with strong communication and stakeholder-coordination abilities.

  • Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for quality and detail.

  • Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings/BIM models.

  • Able to travel and work on sites across the UK as required.

Package & Benefits

  • Competitive salary reflective of seniority.

  • Car allowance or equivalent travel support.

  • Generous holiday entitlement.

  • Life assurance and access to a range of employee wellbeing benefits.

  • Professional development and training opportunities.

  • Chance to work with one of the most innovative modular specialists in the UK.
