Site Fitter

We are a well-established and growing company specialising in the installation of staircases, balustrades, glass balustrade systems, balconies, and secondary steelwork. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Fitter to join our team.

Job Role

As a Site Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation of various metalwork structures on-site. You will work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of staircases, balustrades, glass balustrade systems, balconies, and secondary steelwork.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Ensuring all installations meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Working effectively within a team and liaising with other trades on-site.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Fitter or similar role within the metalwork or construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• CSCS card (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.
