Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design from concept to completion for a variety of projects.

  • Produce design drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and load calculations.

  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, BS standards, and CIBSE guidance.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their professional growth.

  • Attend site visits, client meetings, and liaise with statutory bodies.

  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation.

  • Support feasibility studies, energy assessments, and sustainable design initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.

  • Proven senior-level experience in building services electrical design.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and electrical design/calculation tools.

  • Strong knowledge of UK wiring regulations, BS standards, and CIBSE guidance.

  • Leadership experience with excellent mentoring, communication, and teamwork skills.
