Your new role
The SHEQ Officer will support the Group's SHEQ strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, and company policies. This role will be central in promoting a strong safety culture, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence. While initially a fixed-term contract, there is a strong likelihood of the role becoming permanent for the right candidate. Key responsibilities include:

  • Championing Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) across the Group.
  • Carrying out audits, inspections, and risk assessments to keep our teams safe and compliant.
  • Supporting incident investigations and ensuring lessons learnt are embedded.
  • Driving sustainability initiatives and monitoring environmental performance.
  • Supporting quality assurance processes to deliver excellence for our clients.
  • Delivering training and engaging with staff to build a strong safety-first culture.


What you'll need to succeed

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or equivalent SHEQ qualification.
  • IOSH Membership
  • Experience in a SHEQ role, ideally within construction, engineering, or fire safety industries.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and passion for safety, sustainability, and quality
  • Valid UK driving licence
