Our client an established and reputable groundworks and construction contractor is recruiting for an Estimator to join their commercial team based in their offices near Ipswich. Main responsibilities in role include - Providing estimating support with bids and contracts. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to produce accurate and timely estimates/cost data. To prepare civils and groundworks tenders for residential and commercial construction projects, from review of information, measure, procurement of quotes for sub-contract and material requirements, and collation for submission. Accurately determining the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labour for construction projects. Make accurate time and cost estimates, and resolve any issues that arise.
