Site Supervisor Cycleway Scheme (Slough) Location: Slough
Start Date: 5th Jan Contract Duration: Until August 2028 (likely extension to December 2028)
Rate: £350 Umbrella We are supporting a major Cycleway Scheme in Slough and are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong civils background to join the project team on a long-term contract. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities on a busy cycleway and highways environment
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery
• Review, interpret, and work from technical drawings
• Support change control processes and maintain accurate site documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
• Report progress, issues, and updates to the site management team
• Maintain strong communication channels across the project team and stakeholders

Requirements

• SSSTS or SMSTS essential
• Strong civils / highways / public realm background
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Competent with computers and site documentation processes
• Experience managing subcontractors
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Previous experience on cycleway, highways, active travel, or infrastructure schemes is desirable
