Plumber - North Shields

I am looking for a Plumber to work on behalf of a local North Shields based council. This is an ongoing temporary contract. The successful candidate will carry out repairs to the Council's housing stock.

The Plumber will receive:

• Up to 20 P/H
• Long run of work

The successful candidate will be expected to complete:

• Repairs to the highest standard in accordance with work requests and pre-determined specifications to a wide range of fixtures and fittings. This will include the removal or adjustment of existing fittings and fixtures, the preparation of surfaces, the construction / fabrication / assembly of new fittings and fixtures and re-fitting.
• 8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday

Work will be heavily customer focused so good customer service is essential.

I am really keen in speaking to anyone who has:

• NVQ in Plumbing
• Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience
• CSCS Card
• Driving License

The successful candidate must be willing to undertake an online asbestos awareness and manual handling course prior to starting.
