Electrical Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Working Supervisor to join a long-term commercial project at 25 Baker Street. The successful candidate will be responsible for both supervising electrical trades on site and carrying out hands-on electrical installation works as required. This role suits someone with strong leadership abilities who is also comfortable being actively involved in day-to-day installation and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical operatives and subcontractors on site.

• Carry out hands-on electrical installation, testing and containment works.

• Ensure all works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and industry regulations.

• Manage progress, productivity, and ensure quality on all electrical packages.

• Coordinate with site management, other trades, and the main contractor.

• Complete daily/weekly reports, permits, and site paperwork when required.

• Maintain strict adherence to site health & safety requirements.

• Lead toolbox talks and briefings for the electrical team.

• Assist in resolving technical issues and escalating where necessary.

• Support commissioning and snagging phases.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Chargehand / Working Supervisor.

• Fully qualified electrician (NVQ 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent).

• Valid JIB/ECS Gold Card.

• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred but not essential.

• Experience on commercial construction projects.

• Ability to manage teams while remaining hands-on.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Package

• 250 per day
