Daily Duties
- Lead the production of detailed technical design deliverables, including construction documentation, working drawings, and specifications
- Use Revit and BIM workflows, alongside tools such as NBS Chorus, to produce coordinated models and documents
- Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure constructible, integrated technical solutions
- Work through RIBA Plan of Work stages from concept through to contract administration, contributing to both design and delivery phases
- Apply procurement knowledge, including traditional and design & build routes, to support project execution strategy
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, contract requirements, and technical standards throughout project delivery
- Mentor and support junior technologists, manage resources, and delegate tasks effectively
Ideal Candidate
- Substantial post-qualification experience, ideally including technical project leadership
- Proficiency in Revit and strong BIM experience (NBS Chorus knowledge a plus)
- Excellent technical and construction knowledge, with a flair for detailing and buildability
- Experience working on projects delivered via both traditional and design & build procurement routes
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills, with ability to build sustainable relationships
- Demonstrable ability to collaborate, delegate, motivate others, and manage a small technical team
- Familiarity with multiple RIBA Plan of Work stages is desirable
- Solid understanding of technical compliance, building regulations, and contractual frameworks
