Telehandler

Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator for short-term holiday cover with a reputable housebuilding company based in West Lothian. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting site operations and ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials on a busy housing development.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the telehandler to move, load, and unload materials across the site
• Assist with the delivery and distribution of timber kit housing components
• Support site management and trades with lifting requirements
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and follow all site regulations
• Carry out daily checks and ensure the machine is operated safely and efficiently

Requirements

• Valid CPCS Telehandler ticket covering all sizes of machines
• Previous experience on busy residential construction sites
• Competent in handling timber frame/kit deliveries (preferred)
• Ability to start Monday and commit to the full week of cover
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well with site teams

Hours & Pay

• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Competitive rate - 22.00 per hour
