Project Quantity Surveyor

Project Quantity Surveyor Highways (M62 Corridor, West Yorkshire) £65k - £70k + Package

I m partnering with a respected civil engineering contractor that delivers major highways and infrastructure schemes across the UK. They re well-established, growing fast, and now searching for a strong Project Quantity Surveyor to support upcoming works along the M62 corridor.

You ll be the commercial lead on key highway projects, handling everything from subcontractor procurement to monthly valuations, change control and final accounts.

Ensuring costs are managed accurately, risks are controlled and commercial opportunities are maximised. This is a site-based position covering Leeds and West Yorkshire schemes.

What you ll be doing:

• Procuring and managing subcontractors
• Preparing contracts and attending pre-contract meetings
• Measuring works and managing valuations
• Handling commercial and contractual matters
• Managing interim and final accounts
• Producing monthly CVRs and P&L reports
• Pricing and agreeing variations/compensation events
• Submitting and finalising client applications and accounts

What you'll need:

• BSc/NVQ4/MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Relevant CSCS card
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence and problem-solve
• Confident decision maker with solid commercial awareness
• Good understanding of NEC contracts and measurement methods
• IT-savvy and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
