Job Title: Site Manager Commercial Fit Out
Location: Nuneaton, CV10 (local candidates only)
Contract Type: Fixed Term

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team on a high-profile project at a private Automotive R&D Research Park in Nuneaton. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is a client-facing role, so excellent communication and relationship management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (SMSTS).
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, operatives, and deliveries to meet programme deadlines.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship.
  • Manage site administration, including reports, progress updates, and daily logs using Procore.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client on site, maintaining professional relationships and addressing queries or concerns.
  • Ensure all site personnel hold the correct CSCS qualifications and relevant First Aid certifications.
  • Liaise with design, planning, and procurement teams to resolve any site issues efficiently.
  • Manage a team of up to 25 operatives, typically on site at any given time.

Role Details

  • Start Date: Monday, 24/11/25 (or earlier if available)
  • Working Hours: Generally 7:30am 4:30pm, with some flexibility to fit contractor schedules
  • Saturday Work: Some weekend work required; the outgoing Site Manager has advised that weekends may still be needed
  • Duration: Until early March 2026
  • Parking on Site: Ample parking available on-site

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial or fit-out projects
  • Reside locally to Nuneaton (CV10)
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
  • Proficient IT skills, including experience with Procore or similar site management software
  • Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Desirable

  • Previous experience in workplace fit-outs or commercial interiors
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety best practices and risk assessment procedures
