Head of HSEQ Location: North London (with travel across London & the South) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive + Package (DOE) The Company Our client is an established building services contractor delivering high-quality projects across London and the South. They primarily specialise within Precision Drilling, Groundworks and Structural Solutions. With a growing portfolio of work and multiple live projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Head of HSEQ to lead and develop their Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality function. The Role Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing all HSEQ activities across approximately five live projects, ensuring best practice is maintained throughout the business. Key Responsibilities Lead the company's Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality strategy. Develop, implement and continuously improve HSEQ policies and procedures. Carry out regular site inspections and audits across London and the South. Ensure compliance with UK health & safety legislation and industry standards. Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Produce reports, KPIs and performance data for senior management. Manage external audits and accreditation processes including ISO standards. Deliver training, toolbox talks and support site teams. Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the business. Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies on all HSEQ matters. Requirements Proven experience as a Senior HSEQ Manager or Head of HSEQ within the construction or building services sector. Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation. ISO 9001/14001/45001 Knowledge Experience within Groundworks/RC/Demolition/Diamond Drilling/Steel Erection/Structural Alterations NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred. Chartered IOSH membership or working towards chartership is advantageous. Experience managing multiple live construction projects. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Document Controller About the Company Our client is a well-established Design & Build contractor specialising in high-quality Cat A & Cat B commercial fit-out and interior refurbishment projects across London and the South East. Delivering projects for blue-chip clients, landlords and occupiers, they have built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and successful project delivery. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to join their expanding team. The Role As Document Controller, you will play a key role in supporting multiple commercial fit-out projects, ensuring all project documentation is managed accurately and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, Commercial teams and Site Teams, you will ensure all drawings, technical information, RFIs and project documentation are controlled, distributed and maintained in line with company procedures. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain project documentation from pre-construction through to project completion. Upload, distribute and control drawings, specifications, RFIs, technical submissions and project correspondence. Maintain document control systems ensuring information is current and accurately recorded. Coordinate drawing revisions and issue updated documentation to internal teams, consultants and subcontractors. Support Design Managers and Project Managers with document management throughout project delivery. Monitor document workflows and approval processes. Ensure all project information is filed correctly and easily accessible. Assist with O&M manuals and project handover documentation. Maintain document registers and trackers. Liaise with consultants, architects, subcontractors and clients regarding project documentation. Ensure compliance with company document control procedures and quality standards. Skills & Requirements Previous experience as a Document Controller within Design & Build, Interior Fit-Out or the Construction industry. Experience working on Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction documentation and drawing management processes. Experience using document control platforms such as Procore, FieldView Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across project teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Bench Joiner About the Role We are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join a busy workshop team producing high-quality bespoke joinery. You will be responsible for machining components, assembling units and working from technical drawings to deliver work to a high standard and within deadlines. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists. Machine components from stock and assemble bespoke joinery items. Work to production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards. Liaise with Workshop Supervisors and Managers on progress or any issues. Follow all company quality, environmental and health & safety procedures. Support the wider workshop team and work overtime when required. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Bench Joiner within a workshop environment. Strong joinery knowledge and ability to work from drawings. Good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Reliable, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Bespoke joinery experience and relevant carpentry / joinery qualifications would be advantageous.
