Job Description

We're looking for an Engineering-minded Project Coordinator with real design exposure to support bespoke structural/fa ade projects from concept through to installation. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a technical project or design engineering path.

Around 50% of your time will be office-based design work, so confidence using AutoCAD and working with drawings/model updates is essential.

What You'll Do

  • Support engineers by creating and modifying AutoCAD/3D models and manufacturing drawings.
  • Track design milestones, update drawings, and ensure all design information is accurate and on time.
  • Attend design meetings and coordinate between internal designers, suppliers, and clients.
  • Assist with technical documentation, design programmes, risk assessments, and QA checks.
  • Visit sites to support installation teams and resolve design queries.
  • Help ensure projects progress smoothly from design to manufacture and delivery.

What We're Looking For

Essential (non-negotiable):

  • Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or similar).
  • Hands-on design exposure and ability to interpret drawings.
  • AutoCAD proficiency (3D modelling experience a bonus).
  • Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with engineers, clients, and suppliers.
  • Ability to balance office-based design work with occasional site visits.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in structures, fa ades, steel, glazing, or manufacturing drawings.
