Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well-established and growing specialist joinery contractor, delivering high-quality bespoke joinery solutions across a wide range of commercial and residential projects. They are now seeking a driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team and play a key role in the commercial management of their projects.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with the commercial and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. You'll assist in the preparation of tenders, valuations, cost reports, and procurement while developing your expertise within a supportive environment.

• Assisting in the preparation of bills of quantities, valuations, and cost estimates
• Supporting the commercial management of joinery projects from inception to completion
• Preparing and analysing subcontractor quotations and payments
• Monitoring project budgets and cash flow
• Liaising with clients, site teams, and suppliers
• Maintaining accurate project documentation

• Joinery background is essential
• Experience within an assistant quantity surveyor role is essential
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
• Eager to learn and progress within a growing company
