Part time - Loading Shovel Operative

Role - Part time Loading shovel operative

Pay - 13.25 per hour

Shift pattern- Mon-Fri, 5.30am - 10.15am (24 hours)

Duration- Temp ongoing

Start date - ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Operation of mobile plant (Loading Shovel and/or ADT) safely and efficiently, carrying out daily safety checks and reporting defects.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping keeping areas clean, tidy and hazard free
• Deal with all daily issues professionally and liaise with site management on a regular basis
• Be responsible for the plant assets that are entrusted to you i.e. materials, plant buildings and equipment and stores used therein and efficient employment of them.
• To contribute the effective and efficient operation of all plant operations
• To monitor and ensure that all stockpiles are to Geotech level 4 rules.

Experience needed:

• Experience operating a loading shovel
• Ability to work shifts and weekends as required.
• A highly motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm to work as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Previous experience within a similar industry
