Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of retail construction and shopfitting. Based in Southampton, you'll play a key role in pricing and planning projects for major retail clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for retail shopfitting and construction projects.
• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to align budgets and timelines.
• Provide value engineering and cost-saving recommendations.
• Track project costs and support post-tender negotiations

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in estimating within the retail fit-out or construction sector.
• Strong understanding of materials, labour, and subcontractor pricing.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
