Anglian Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading energy and infrastructure contractor delivering a range of sustainable projects across the East of England. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based near King s Lynn.

The Role

You will be responsible for the commercial management of energy and utilities projects from pre-construction through to final account. The role will involve cost planning, subcontract management, valuations, and ensuring project profitability while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects

• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost reports

• Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers

• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements

• Support the project delivery team in achieving cost and time targets

About You

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

• Proven experience in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector

• Strong understanding of NEC contracts

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and commercially astute

Package

• Salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
