My client, an established mechanical contractor, have an opportunity for a Qualified Electrician with a VIVO pass to join their team in the Plymouth area working on a mixture of domestic and commercial work.

My client, an established mechanical contractor, have an opportunity for a Qualified Electrician with a VIVO pass to join their team in the Plymouth area working on a mixture of domestic and commercial work.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across MoD sites, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and MoD technical standards.
• Carry out inspection, testing, and fault-finding, completing all required certificates and documentation accurately.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation of critical defence infrastructure.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols, including MoD site rules, permit-to-work systems, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain clear communication and reporting, updating asset systems and liaising with supervisors, FM teams, and MoD representatives.

You will need:

• To be a qualified electrician with experience working on MoD properties
• An active VIVO pass
• Security Clearance
• A valid UK drivers licence
