Mechanical Maintenance EngineerNorth London, London £48,000 - £53,000This is a standout role for any Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work for an excellent company within a static, commercial property in North London. This role offers an excellent package and the opportunity to progress technically.
For this role, you will follow a split shift role, (36 hour working week), Monday - Friday.
You will be part of the M&E engineering team, carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, actively fault find / troubleshoot, carry out in depth engineering works, update site logbooks, respond to emergencies and ensure compliance is carried out.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Statutory Compliance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Reports
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- City and Guilds / NVQ (Or equivalent) qualifications in a mechanical related subject
- At least 5 years experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within a commercial environment
- Able to work well as part of a team and individually
- Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge
- Apprentice trained - Desirable
Salary and Package:
- £48,000 - £53,000
- Package includes private pension scheme of up to 21%, annual bonuses and additional training
