Multi-skilled Engineer (Electrical) East London £48,000 - £50,000 per annum We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and highly regarded building services provider at a prestigious site in East London. You'll be joining a supportive on-site team of four engineers, responsible for maintaining both landlord and tenant areas across the building. The role offers a varied workload, combining planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and general building services duties across electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site. Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs, replacements, and installations. Work safely with both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Maintain and test emergency lighting and fire alarm systems. Operate, monitor, and respond to alarms through the Building Management System (BMS). Carry out maintenance and servicing of AHUs, FCUs, VAV/VRF systems, generators, and associated equipment. Maintain pumps, motors, cooling towers, and other mechanical plant. Support water treatment activities, including testing, dosing, and inspections. Maintain accurate site records, including logbooks, maintenance reports, and compliance documentation. Monitor and oversee contractors working on-site. Assist with site audits, technical reports, and quotations where required. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with relevant procedures and regulations. Requirements City & Guilds or NVQ Level qualification in Electrical Installations, or an equivalent recognised qualification. Electrical apprenticeship background is preferred. Previous experience working within commercial building services or facilities maintenance. Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Good understanding of mechanical and HVAC systems. Experience working with or around BMS, generators, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, and VAV/VRF systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable dealing with clients, contractors, and other site stakeholders. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a wider engineering team. Electrical Shift Engineer City of London £51,500 We're offering an exciting opportunity to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious flagship site in the City of London. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimising all electrical plant and equipment across the site. You'll carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring systems run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with current regulations. You'll be working on a continental shift pattern (days and nights), offering variety and excellent earning potential through overtime.
