Civils Site Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an ambitious Site Engineer on behalf of a thriving civil engineering main contractor to work on a significant 40m project near Derby.

A innovative civil engineering contractor with an ever-growing reputation - turnover surpassing 1bn per annum. They've gained a strong reputation for having delivered a number of key infrastructure solutions across the Midlands & North of England.

The initial project is a flood alleviation scheme. The project will provide a 2 year consistent home for the successful Site Engineer to play a pivotal role in the re-enforced concrete / structures team and then into other packages on site also.

Duties:

• Complex setting out - using relevant kit
• Checking of sub-contractors work
• As-builts
• QA
• Involvement with site briefings
• Assisting Site Agent
• Updating site documentation

Experience required:

• Candidates should have proven experience as Site Engineer within a Heavy Civil Engineering setting
• Must be fully competent with working as PC and adept with documentation and site engineering processes
• Must have experience with relevant kit: Total Station, Leica, Topcon etc.
• Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree)
• Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license

Remuneration:

On offer is a salary of up to 50,000 (dependant on experience) plus
