The Role
As the Painter & Decorator, you ll:

• Carry out all aspects of internal painting and decorating following damp and mould remediation works.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming walls, ceilings, and woodwork to achieve a professional finish.
• Work collaboratively with plasterers, joiners, and damp specialists to ensure smooth handover of completed works.
• Identify and report any underlying maintenance issues, defects, or potential damp problems observed during work.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, including safe use and storage of materials.

You
To be successful in the role of Painter & Decorator, you ll bring:

• To be IPAF Trained
• Retail experience (desirable)
• Relevant experience in painting and decorating, especially in damp and mould environments.

• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
• Basic skills in health and safety compliance.
• An organised and detail-oriented mindset.
