Contracts Manager / Building Surveyor - South

Your new companyYou will work for a large housing provider who believes that everybody has the right to a warm, safe, high-quality, and sustainable home. This means that your new employer is investing over £600m into existing home improvements over the next 10 years - ensuring homes are safe and efficient. As an experienced contract management professional, you will work regionally across a tight geographic patch.Your new roleYou will be responsible for the specification, procurement, management, and delivery of a variety of externally-led contracts as part of a wider planned programme of works.

• Specify, produce, and manage programmes of work for cyclical compliance requirements.
• Ensure that work packages are comprehensive in terms of scope, specification, and quality standards.
• Ensure that all work is procured and undertaken in accordance with CDM and all other health & safety requirements.
• Maintain strict financial control of budget lines applicable to your role.
• Carry out inspections to ensure that all works are delivered in accordance with agreed specification and quality standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified to HNC level in a building related discipline, OR, have experience of working in a similar role with a housing association or contractor.
• Knowledge of relevant statutory obligations related to the construction industry.
• Full driving licence.
• Have personal drive, and ambition!
