Multi-skilled Carpenter

Your new role
We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join the team on a temporary contract (3 months +), working 37 hours per week. You'll be responsible for a variety of repairs, maintenance, and improvement works, primarily in occupied homes, with some in vacant properties.
Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out carpentry and associated works to required standards
• Completing work surveys to assess materials and scope
• Recording time, materials, and job details using a PDA device
• Maintaining vehicle stock levels to support a Right First Time approach
• Supporting a culture of excellent customer service and continuous improvement

What you'll need to succeed

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry or a relevant trade
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence (you'll be issued a company vehicle)
• Solid working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe practices
• Experience working in occupied domestic properties
• Ability to diagnose issues and carry out repairs to trade standards
