About the Role
We re looking for a talented and motivated Quantity Surveyor (or Employer s Agent) with consultancy experience who takes pride in delivering an exceptional client service.
You ll lead and support a range of projects from early feasibility through to completion, acting as a key client contact and working alongside a team that values collaboration, personal development, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a variety of projects
- Act as Employer s Agent on design & build schemes
- Manage cost planning, procurement, tendering, and contract administration
- Supervise and mentor junior team members and apprentices
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high standard of service
- Support the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and quality standards
About You
You ll bring a mix of strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
We re looking for someone who has:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or a related discipline
- Ideally, MRICS qualification (or working towards chartership within 3 years)
- At least 3 years experience delivering QS and/or Employer s Agent services within a consultancy or PQS environment
- Strong understanding of cost management and construction contracts
- The ability to run projects independently while collaborating with wider teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
