About the Role

We re looking for a talented and motivated Quantity Surveyor (or Employer s Agent) with consultancy experience who takes pride in delivering an exceptional client service.

You ll lead and support a range of projects from early feasibility through to completion, acting as a key client contact and working alongside a team that values collaboration, personal development, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a variety of projects
  • Act as Employer s Agent on design & build schemes
  • Manage cost planning, procurement, tendering, and contract administration
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members and apprentices
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high standard of service
  • Support the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and quality standards

About You

You ll bring a mix of strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

We re looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or a related discipline
  • Ideally, MRICS qualification (or working towards chartership within 3 years)
  • At least 3 years experience delivering QS and/or Employer s Agent services within a consultancy or PQS environment
  • Strong understanding of cost management and construction contracts
  • The ability to run projects independently while collaborating with wider teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
