Location: Southampton
Salary: 32,000 - 34,440 (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week

They are currently looking for an experienced Roofer to join their Property Team in the Southampton area. This is a mobile role, and you'll be provided with a company van and fuel card for business use, ensuring you're never out of pocket.

The role

As a Roofer, you'll be responsible for carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance to our client's housing stock and other properties as required. You'll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing repairs to pitched roofing systems

  • Installing and repairing lead valleys, flashings, and box gutters

  • Carrying out full roof covering renewals

  • Installing and replacing guttering systems

  • Working safely at height and maintaining compliance with all health and safety standards

About you

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Roofing OR a minimum of 5 years' trade experience

  • Experience working in occupied properties with excellent customer service skills

  • Strong awareness of health and safety best practices

  • Confident using mobile technology (iPad or PDA)

  • Team player with a proactive attitude

  • Full UK driving licence
