Job Title: Architect

Location: Lancashire

Salary: £37-45,000 DOE

An award-winning UK architectural practice with a strong reputation in healthcare design is seeking a qualified Architect with several years of post-Part 3 experience to join its collaborative and growing team. The practice is known for delivering imaginative, people-focused solutions in complex and challenging environments, combining creativity, technical excellence, and a genuine commitment to improving lives through design.

Operating across the UK and internationally, the studio works on projects ranging from £500,000 refurbishments to £170 million developments, covering healthcare, education, residential, and mixed-use sectors. As early adopters of BIM and the first Level 2 accredited practice in the North West, the team embraces innovation, sustainability, and collaboration as core values. This is a supportive, medium-sized studio where architects are encouraged to develop, share ideas, and take ownership of meaningful work. While experience with REVIT is advantageous, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Daily Duties:

  • Lead and contribute to projects through all RIBA stages, from concept to completion
  • Produce design drawings, technical documentation, and specifications to a high standard
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver coordinated design solutions
  • Attend site meetings, oversee progress, and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards
  • Support tender and procurement processes, including preparation of technical information
  • Contribute to design reviews, sustainability initiatives and knowledge-sharing within the practice

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified Architect (Part 3), with several years of post-qualification experience
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects, ideally within healthcare or public-sector environments
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction detailing and processes
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in BIM workflows- REVIT experience advantageous (training provided if required)
  • Collaborative, proactive and passionate about creating high-quality, sustainable architecture
