Architectural Designer to join its London team. The company specialises in workplace transformations, combining creativity, functionality, and technical precision to deliver spaces that enhance how people work.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile commercial interiors projects of up to £20 - taking designs from early concept through to completion as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking studio.
The Role
The
Architectural Designer will be responsible for developing creative and technically robust design solutions that meet client objectives and uphold company standards. You ll manage the coordination of drawing packages, ensure design intent is realised on site, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional results.
Much of the work will focus on the
detail and build stages, so this position would suit someone who enjoys translating concept design into precise, buildable solutions and thrives in a hands-on, delivery-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop fit-for-purpose design solutions in line with project and client requirements.
- Lead and coordinate design deliverables across RIBA Stages 2 5
- Prepare and oversee drawing packages to ensure design accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with internal design, technical, and build teams for cohesive project delivery.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings and presentations
- Undertake space planning, including test fits and design layouts
- Support on-site delivery to maintain design integrity through to completion
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and CDM requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards
About You
We re looking for a confident and experienced designer with both creative flair and technical precision someone who thrives in a fast-paced, design-and-build environment and enjoys working collaboratively across disciplines.
You ll bring: - Qualification as a Registered Architect (ARB or equivalent)
- Experience in commercial interiors or workplace design
- Proven ability to deliver projects up to £20m. (Design & Build experience would be a bonus)
- Strong technical and coordination experience across RIBA stages
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent hand-sketching and visual communication skills
- Confident client-facing and presentation abilities
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills
