Job Title: M&E Quantity Surveyor (Contract)

Location: Wolverhampton / Midlands Region

Contract Length: 18 months

Day Rate: Open to Negotiation

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our client on a £8 million new build project in the Wolverhampton region. This is an office-based role with responsibility for overseeing all commercial and financial aspects of the mechanical and electrical works

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of M&E packages.

Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.

Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.

Provide accurate financial reporting to senior management.

Manage subcontractor accounts, payments, and procurement.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations.

Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Requirements:

Proven track record as an M&E Quantity Surveyor (mechanical & electrical focus essential).

Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of NEC / JCT contracts.

Experience working on large-scale new build projects.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.

Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred but not essential with proven experience).
