Testing Electrician

Contek Recruitment are working with an electrical contrcator based in the north east, they are seeking an experienced, highly skilled electrician to join their team specialising in periodic inspection & testing of existing installations and initial verifications of new installations. They deliver high-quality testing and inspection services across domestic and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations
• Perform initial verification of new installations
• Undertake remedial works, small installations, and general maintenance
• Conduct emergency lighting testing and EV charger installations
• Maintain accurate test results using certification software (Fastest preferred)
• Adhere to all relevant safety and compliance standards
• Travel as required to support projects across the UK

Requirements:

• C&G 2391 or equivalent (essential)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
• Proven experience in inspection and testing (domestic & commercial)
• Proficiency with certification software (Fastest experience advantageous, training provided)
• ECS/CSCS safety passport (essential)
• IPAF certification (advantageous)
• Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
• Willingness to travel as business demands
