Hod Carrier / Labourer

Hod Carrier needed in Northampton NN4

Location: Northampton

Rate: 17.50 per hour

Duration: 4 wks +

Start Date: Monday the 20th October 2025

Hours: 7.30 to 4.30pm

Hours Paid per day: Minimum 8.5 hrs paid per day

Job Type: Temporary

Job Description:

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Brickwork Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Hod Carrier to join their busy site in Northampton NN4

Hod Carrier Key Duties:

• Carrying bricks and mortar to support bricklayers
• Mixing up mortar and ensuring consistent supply on site
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Assisting bricklayers and other site workers as required
• General labouring and site support tasks

Hod Carrier Requirements:

• Minimum of Green CSCS Card
• Own tools (Shovel and Bucket required)
• Previous experience as a hod carrier preferred
• Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Ability to commute to Cambridge site reliably
• Must provide at least one work references relevant to hod carrying or construction
