Job Title: Site Operative - Cleaning & Painting of machinery
Location: Durham (Dragonville Industrial Park)
Pay Rate: 13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 17:30pm
Contract Type: Temporary (Ongoing no end date)
Manpower are currently recruiting for a full-time Site Operative to work at our client's busy site in Durham. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys practical, physical tasks.
About the Role:
You'll play a key part in maintaining the professional appearance of machinery and equipment on site. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Sanding machinery
- Using grinding tools to remove rust
- Cleaning machinery and equipment
- Re-painting machines using brushes and rollers to ensure they look clean and well-maintained
- General housekeeping duties to keep the site clean, tidy, and safe
What We're Looking For:
- Someone confident and comfortable using a paint brush and roller
- Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential
