Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a large new build residential development at Merrick Place, Southall. The successful candidate will support site management in overseeing internal works from mist coat through to final finishes, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate internal fit-out stages, including:
Mist coat to kitchen installation
Carpentry 2nd fix
Flooring installation
M&E 2nd fix and final connections
Support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations and subcontractor coordination.
Monitor progress against programme and report on updates and issues.
Conduct quality checks and snagging to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
Liaise with trades, suppliers, and management to achieve timely completions.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on residential new build or fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of internal finishes, sequencing, and trade coordination.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to read drawings and ensure works are completed to specification.
Valid CSCS and SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
Experience using snagging or site management software (e.g., Field View, SnagR, BIM 360, RDrive, etc.) preferred.
