Job Description


Our client, a key player in the rail sector, is currently seeking an experienced PTS Site Manager for a contract position. This role involves working on a significant infrastructure project with a focus on the installation of level crossings on railway lines.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
  • Supervising and coordinating site personnel and subcontractors
  • Overseeing the installation of level crossings on railway lines
  • Ensuring all health, safety, environmental and quality standards are upheld
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain project progress
  • Managing project documentation and reporting to senior management
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure smooth execution


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in PTS Civils as a Supervisor, Sub Agent, Site Manager
  • Valid PTS/Sentinel card (COSS preferred but not essential)
  • SMSTS certification
  • Proven track record in managing large infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail sector
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities


Contract Details:

  • 6-8 month contract with potential for extension
  • Outside IR35
  • Mix of day, night, and weekend shifts
