Site Manager Clean Water Projects
Location: Oxford area
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (DOE) + Package and Benefits
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

This is your opportunity to manage essential infrastructure that keeps communities running. As Site Manager, you ll oversee clean water schemes in and around Oxford, ensuring each project runs smoothly, safely and to the highest standards.

You ll be the person who keeps everything on track. From planning and managing day-to-day site operations, including administrative tasks such as weekly labour, plant, and material scheduling, to leading your team with confidence, you ll make sure deadlines are met and safety never slips.

Working for a trusted name in drainage and utility services, you ll join a business that partners with Tier 1 contractors to deliver clean water projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations on clean water sites

  • Plan, schedule and monitor labour, plant and materials

  • Maintain site records and administrative requirements

  • Ensure all work complies with HSEQ standards

  • Lead, motivate and manage site operatives and subcontractors

  • Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget

  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety briefings

  • Coordinate with clients and project teams to resolve issues

  • Oversee permits, risk assessments and method statements

  • Drive high-quality workmanship and attention to detail

  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards

  • Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement

  • Liaise with the wider operations team and senior management

  • Report on progress, performance and site productivity

What You ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on clean water or utilities projects

  • Strong understanding of civil engineering and water infrastructure

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills

  • A commitment to safety and quality

  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred
