Duration: Ongoing Contract
Pay: 412p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave or 560 p/d Umbrella

Rullion is proud to partner with one of the UK's most ambitious energy projects - Hinkley Point C (HPC) - in search of a highly capable Civil Engineer (Marine & Tunnelling) to join the Joint Design Office (JDO). The roles expectations are to ensure all design and construction changes are delivered on time to meet Construction need. To attend readiness reviews of Design Packages released for construction as and when required by design owners. To work closely with the Design teams, Contractor and Construction teams to maintain technical quality responses (content / consistency / comprehensiveness / accuracy), construction programme and construction safety.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in structural engineering, design review, and site-based delivery within a complex, highly regulated nuclear environment. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring that construction-driven design changes are technically robust, safe, and aligned with programme milestones.
The Role
The Tunnel Engineer is the technical lead reviewing and accepting the changes to the design raised by the site contractor, responsible for managing interfaces between the construction contractors and the designers. Being part of NNB's Engineering Directorate and working on a day-to-day basis on site with the Construction Team, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and dynamic working environment.
