The company specialises in securing external funding for green solutions, supporting vulnerable customers and households through energy efficiency and healthcare innovations such as insulation, solar panels, heat pumps, and low-carbon heating systems. Team & Projects: The Resident Liaison Officer will work closely with project delivery teams, contractors, Housing Associations (HAs), and site managers, acting as the key point of contact for residents throughout the lifecycle of energy efficiency installations. The role involves a mix of customer service, site coordination, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the safe delivery of projects from construction through to final adoption, acting as the Principal Contractor under CDM 2015 . You'll play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating multiple stakeholders across complex infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities As the CDM Site Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing the safe delivery of HV electrical infrastructure and EV charging projects from construction through to completion and final adoption. Acting as the Principal Contractor in accordance with CDM 2015. Overseeing HV construction activities, including 11kV and 33kV cable installation, substations, jointing, earthing systems, and commissioning. Managing LV infrastructure works, including feeder pillars, distribution boards, cabling, final connections, and energisation. Coordinating civil engineering activities, including excavations, ducting, chambers, foundations, reinstatement, drainage, fencing, and associated groundworks. Ensuring full compliance with CDM 2015, Electrical Safety Rules, Construction Phase Plans (CPP), RAMS, permits to work, and NERS requirements. Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within programme. Coordinating testing, commissioning, inspections, technical handover, and adoption documentation. Building strong working relationships with clients, DNOs, highways authorities, landowners, and other key stakeholders. Promoting a strong health and safety culture across all project activities. About You We're looking for a proactive Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering HV electrical infrastructure projects. Essential Experience Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering HV electrical infrastructure projects. Experience delivering NERS-accredited projects through to adoption. Strong knowledge of 11kV and 33kV distribution networks. Experience managing HV cable installation, substations, earthing systems, and commissioning activities. Experience delivering LV infrastructure and/or EV charging projects. Strong understanding of civil engineering and groundworks. Experience acting under CDM 2015 as Principal Contractor. Proven experience within major project or mega-project environments. Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, budgeting and project financial management. Experience providing cost assurance and governance across large-scale delivery programmes. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership and executive teams.
