Site Agent

Your new companyOperating both in the UK and across the world, they are a leading contractor delivering projects across multiple sectors including; real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water.Your new roleWorking on the largest highways project in the region involving a new 10 mile dual carriageway, we are looking for a Site Agent to join the project team.As Site Agent you will lead the delivery of a defined area of works, ensuring everything is planned, programmed, and executed with a "right first time" approach.This is a pivotal role where you'll be responsible for the strategic and operational management of your section, driving quality, safety, and performance while ensuring timely handover of completed assets.Key Duties:

• Lead the planning and delivery of construction works within your section.
• Champion health, safety, and wellbeing across your team and supply chain.
• Support and develop your engineering team, setting clear goals and expectations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, designers, and client representatives.
• Review and approve Temporary Works Design Briefs and ensure compliance.
• Manage and update whole-life programmes, ensuring resource alignment and continuity.
• Oversee supply chain programmes and payment applications.
• Ensure works are delivered to the latest design specifications and contract scope.
• Maintain accurate quality records
• Uphold environmental standards and drive sustainable practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in delivering major highways schemes.
• Strong communication skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and temporary works.
• Experience with construction contracts
• Proficient in digital tools (MS Office 365, document control systems).
• SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS
