Project Manager for a contract role managing the implementation of a new baggage system in Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with various teams and sub-contractors
- Ensuring that project goals are met within the approved budget and timeframe
- Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to telecommunications and airport operations
- Conducting post-project evaluation and reporting to ensure continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project management within the telecommunications sector, particularly in airport or other highly regulated environments
- Hands on experience with ICS Cable
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships effectively
- Problem-solving expertise and the ability to mitigate risks proactively
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the aviation and telecommunications sectors
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification, or equivalent is advantageous
