Contract Construction Project Manager Management

Job Description

Project Manager for a contract role managing the implementation of a new baggage system in Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with various teams and sub-contractors
  • Ensuring that project goals are met within the approved budget and timeframe
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to telecommunications and airport operations
  • Conducting post-project evaluation and reporting to ensure continuous improvement


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in project management within the telecommunications sector, particularly in airport or other highly regulated environments
  • Hands on experience with ICS Cable
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships effectively
  • Problem-solving expertise and the ability to mitigate risks proactively
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the aviation and telecommunications sectors
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification, or equivalent is advantageous
