Quality and Commissioning Engineer

Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality and Commissioning Engineer with extensive practical experience in cable or substation fitting. The ideal candidate will thrive in hands-on environments, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and take ownership of the final stages of project delivery, including snagging, defect management, and commissioning.

Required Experience

• Strong background as a cable or substation fitter with in-depth knowledge of electrical installation practices.
• Proven ability to create comprehensive snag lists and drive effective defect resolution.
• Practical commissioning experience, preferably within HV/LV systems.
• Solid understanding of relevant industry standards (eg, BS, IEC) and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
