Slinger

Labour Hire are looking for an experienced Slinger Signaller to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.

Responsibilities:

• Safely coordinate and direct crane and lifting operations using hand signals or radio communication.
• Ensure the safe slinging and movement of materials, equipment, and machinery across the site.
• Conduct pre-use inspections of lifting equipment and tools, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with crane operators, riggers, and site personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
• Assist in site preparation and setup for lifting operations, ensuring the work environment is free of hazards.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of lifting activities as per company policies.

About you:

• Valid and up-to-date CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller certification.
• Proven experience in a Slinger Signaller role, preferably in a heavy industrial or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, health and safety regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk management.
