Assistant Site Manager

Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton

Job Type: Permanent, full-time Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction - New Build Housing / House Building

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent

A 5 star Housing Developer with a reputation for building high quality homes is recruiting a permanent Assistant Site Manager.

• Oversee a traditional housing site in Northampton with the support of an established Site Manager
• Assist in managing day-to-day operations on-site
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitor project progress and quality standards
• Report to the Site Manager on site activities

• SMSTS certification
• CSCS card
• First Aid certification
• Valid Driving Licence
• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on a new build housing site
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Work on-site in varying weather conditions
• Regular travel to different construction sites
• May involve working evenings and weekends depending on project deadlines
